Perceptual Control Theory PCT is a unified integrative interdisciplinary theory of self-regulation within psychology and beyond a self-regulatory approach - see Carver Scheier, 1982; TOTE, Miller Pribram et al, 1960 developed by William T. Powers, a control systems engineer. It has some similarities to cybernetics Norbert Weiner, Stanford Beer; Ross Ashby. The website's header had Living Control Systems Publishing as the most important search term. It was followed by Benchmark Press and NewView Publishing, Rick Marken, and Tim Carey which isn't as highly ranked as Living Control Systems Publishing. The next words they uses is William Glasser.
